This heat dome is making it extremely hot, almost everywhere. Outside, inside, there&#8217;s no escape. Maybe your studio AC is struggling to keep up, or perhaps you&#8217;re testing the upper limits of your antiperspirant while you\u2019re sweating through another \u201curgent\u201d promo that\u2019s due in\u2026 oh, look, 10 minutes ago.<\/p>\n<p>But here\u2019s the good news in all this hot mess: <!--more-->It&#8217;s can be pretty easy to do a mental reset when you are feeling hot and stressed.\u00a0 Here are five things to try:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li data-start=\"95\" data-end=\"157\">\n<p data-start=\"98\" data-end=\"157\"><strong data-start=\"98\" data-end=\"115\">Breathe slow.<\/strong> In through the nose, out twice as long.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"158\" data-end=\"214\">\n<p data-start=\"161\" data-end=\"214\"><strong data-start=\"161\" data-end=\"179\">One task only.<\/strong> Forget multitasking, just get the current piece done, then move on.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"215\" data-end=\"286\">\n<p data-start=\"218\" data-end=\"286\"><strong data-start=\"218\" data-end=\"239\">Talk to yourself.<\/strong> \u201cI&#8217;ve got this\u201d works better than &#8220;Oh sh*t, I&#8217;ve gotta hurry.&#8221;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"287\" data-end=\"343\">\n<p data-start=\"290\" data-end=\"343\"><strong data-start=\"290\" data-end=\"311\">Check your posture.<\/strong> Realign your body in front of your workstation. Feet flat on the floor, back straight, good hand position&#8230;you know the drill.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"344\" data-end=\"411\">\n<p data-start=\"347\" data-end=\"411\"><strong data-start=\"347\" data-end=\"367\">Reset. <\/strong>If all else fails, get up and walk out of the studio.
