Stars, Stripes, and Sweepers

The 4th of July rings a little differently when you work in radio. It’s loud, proud, rebellious, and the perfect metaphor for what we do every day in radio production and audio branding.

Audio branding is freedom of expression at full volume. It’s the ability to shape a station’s identity, stand out from the rest of the stations in your market, and say something that matters, even if it’s only six seconds long. From the crackle of fireworks to the roar of a crowd, July 4th gives us the perfect excuse to celebrate and have a little extra fun with sound.

So, whether you’re laying down a star-spangled sweeper, lighting the fuse on a promo, or just adding a little patriotic punch to your weekend programming elements, remember: celebrate in style and be thankful for your creative freedom.

Shhhh…It’s a SPLAT! Secret Project

Here at SPLAT! HQ, we’re constantly tinkering, experimenting, and trying new things to make a great service even better. Sometimes it works. Sometimes it doesn’t. (Thankfully, mostly it does.)

Here’s something new we’re testing: SPLAT! Boost.

We’re not making a huge fuss about it just yet, so let’s call this our beta test and see what kind of response it gets.

Awesome Imaging + Fantastic Voiceover!

A passable voiceover with average production isn’t the goal for most radio stations when it comes to their branding and imaging. Nor, of course, should it be!  But awesome imaging coupled with Fantastic Voiceover? Now you’re talking.  That’s what brings the station sound together!  And that’s why we’re proud to work with, and feature in our production, a wide array of wildly talented imaging voices…including stars like Neil Wilson and his Fantastic Voiceover! Or to be more precise, “FANTasTic VOICEoveR…!!!”
